When You Feel Stuck: A Tarot Reading That Reminded Me It's Okay to Ask for Help

Sometimes, Even the Guides Need Guidance

Sometimes, we all need a pick-me-up—a little clarity, a spiritual nudge, or simply a reminder that it’s okay not to have all the answers. Today, my tarot cards became that lifeline for me. As someone who teaches intuitive development and guides others on their metaphysical path, it's easy to fall into the trap of thinking I always have to be "on." But the truth is: I’m also neurodivergent. My spirituality filters through a different lens—often nonlinear, deeply sensory, and sometimes unpredictable.

So, when I started to feel lost and emotionally heavy today, I turned to what I know brings me back to center: a tarot reading for clarity.

My Tarot Reading: A 3-Card Tarot Spread for the Present Moment

This was not a reading for the past or the future—it was a mirror for right now. I pulled three cards:

  • Left – Wisdom to be Gained from the Situation: The Chariot Reversed

  • Middle – Nature of the Situation / Dominant Energy: 10 of Wands Reversed

  • Right – Guidance on How to Move Forward: Death Reversed

The Chariot Reversed: Wisdom to Be Gained

This card screamed truth at me. I’ve been feeling unfocused, unsure, and—if I’m honest—like I’ve handed over my personal power to circumstances. The Chariot reversed reminds us that without intention and direction, we drift. It's not that I'm not capable—it's that I forgot to steer. This was a reminder to reclaim my will, not just float in reactive mode.

Message: Re-evaluate how you're directing your energy. Are you leading your life, or letting life lead you?

10 of Wands Reversed: The Dominant Energy

This card reflected the burnout I've been skimming the surface of. As someone who carries a lot—emotionally, energetically, and mentally—it’s easy to overlook just how much weight I’m holding. Reversed, the Ten of Wands says: you’re finally seeing it. You’re learning to say no. To rest. To breathe. To stop proving your worth through overexertion.

Message: Lay down what you were never meant to carry alone. Prioritize peace over performance.

Death Reversed: The Way Forward

This was the most striking of all. The Death card (especially reversed) shows up when transformation is overdue, but resistance is strong. What am I afraid to let go of? An old story? A comfort zone that’s actually a cage? I’ve been repeating patterns that don’t align with who I’m becoming, and that’s keeping me in limbo.

Message: Stop clinging to what’s already dying. Trust the unknown. It’s where your next chapter begins.

The Oracle Card That Called Me Out

To seal the message, I pulled an oracle card. It read:

“Have you asked your Angels for help with this?”

And here’s the kicker: I hadn’t. Not once.

Even though I know spiritually that our angels and guides honor free will. They won’t intervene unless invited. I teach this truth, but in my moment of fog, I forgot it.

So Here’s the Real Lesson:

No matter who you are—intuitive, teacher, healer, or seeker—you’re still human. You’re allowed to need help. You’re allowed to feel off. You’re allowed to lean on tools, support, and community to recalibrate.

Asking for help isn’t a weakness—it’s a sign of spiritual maturity. Whether you find your clarity through tarot, meditation, therapy, prayer, journaling, or simply a conversation with a trusted friend, you deserve to be supported.

Let this be your reminder:

🌱 It’s safe to start over.

🌱 You’re allowed to ask for help.

🌱 You don’t have to carry it all.

🌱 Even reversed cards lead to progress.

🌱 Your healing is holy—even on the days you forget how to heal.

Final Thoughts: Tarot as a Mirror, Not a Map

This reading didn’t tell me what to do, but it showed me what I already knew. Sometimes that’s all we need: a moment of reflection that leads to revelation.

So if today you’re feeling tired, lost, overwhelmed—or just over it—pull a card. Light a candle. Take a breath. Or say out loud: "I need help." And watch the Universe respond.
